Transportation Ambassador Program

Transportation Ambassador Program

Way2Go’s Transportation Ambassadors are part of a new program designed to help you enjoy the many transportation options offered in Tompkins County. Riding the bus or using Gadabout, ADA paratransit or Ithaca Carshare is easy when you work with a Transportation Ambassador. If you are hesitant to use public transit because of unfamiliarity with how it works, a Transportation Ambassador can help!

How Can a Transportation Ambassador Help Me?

Take a Trip with an Ambassador: An ambassador will help plan a free trip on the TCAT bus system for you or a group of friends to learn the ins and outs of the system.

One on One Transportation Problem Solving: An ambassador will assess your goals and recommend transportation services to best meet your needs. This is available to anyone who might feel that they are limited by their current transportation options.

Transportation Presentations: Ambassadors will present an overview of transportations options in Tompkins County and provide attendees with a folder full of transportation information.
