Cornell University students and the general public are urged to take advantage of a special Route 13FM that will serve the Ithaca Farmers Market on Sun., Oct. 13.
The route will provide hourly service to and from Cornell’s campus and the market, and points in between, during market hours from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The route will depart Hasbrouck Apartments at :03 after the hour from 10:03 a.m. through 2:03 p.m. and will serve stops at Milstein Hall, Baker Flagpole; Seneca @ Commons; and @ Third @ Hancock before arriving at the Aldi/ Farmers Market stop at :25 after the hour. The route will leave the Aldi/ Farmers Market stop at: 31 after the hour from 10:31 a.m. through 2:31 p.m., returning to Hasbrouck at 3 p.m.
TCAT Assistant General Manager Mike Smith, who oversees TCAT’s operations, said the 13FM service is for one day only this Sunday, but that he hopes to add it as a regular route starting in the spring of 2020.
